Thursday Video: The high holds on, just

High pressure continues to affect the country with the centre of the high drifting eastwards but still protecting a big part of the country. It means light winds, morning and evening cloud and foggy and misty patches. 

As we head into the weekend we’ll see an uptick in light showers for some coastal areas – and more cloud spreading across the country.

Next week looks a bit more unsettled – but perhaps not until next Friday (8 days from now) will we see our next nationwide burst of heavy rain and gales.
