Central North Island, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty
Showers, some may be heavy with thunderstorms. Showers easing overnight as northwesterlies change westerly.

Eastern North Island
Dry about Gisborne tonight with north to northwest winds, showers further south, heavy at times with a chance of thunderstorms then clearing this evening as winds tend northerly. Overnight southwesterlies freshen about Wairarapa and Hawkes Bay with the risk of a further shower.

Areas of rain with heavy falls and a few thunderstorms about, westerly winds freshen from the south overnight with rain easing.

Areas of rain ease this evening, strong southerlies ease overnight.

Areas of rain clear overnight as southwesterly winds freshen.

Cloudy areas with easterlies easing this evening, a few clear spells break through overnight.

Isolated showers about South Westland clear this evening, mainly clear skies although some cloud develops about Fiordland overnight. High cloud further north with southwesterly breezes, any rain clears this evening.

Clear spells ovenight with easterly breezes easing this evening, some high cloud develops overnight.

Isolated showers clear this evening, some high cloud develops overnight. Light winds.

Clear spells and some cloud with southwesterly breezes, easing later this evening.
