Clear spells with a few clouds about, light winds tending westerly about the Waikato. Winds tend northerly about the Bay Of Plenty then ease later this evening.

Eastern North Island
Cloudy spells with southeasterly breezes easing overnight, winds tend more easterly about Wairarapa.

Western North Island
Clear skies, south to southwest winds ease later this evening. Light winds overnight.

Wellington
Mainly clear skies, southerly breezes tend northerly later this evening.

Nelson
Mainly clear skies, northerlies ease this evening with light winds overnight.

Marlborough
Easterlies ease this evening, mainly clear skies overnight.

Canterbury
Mainly clear skies with east to northeast breezes easing near the coast this evening. There may be some high cloud about overnight.

Cloudy periods with light winds tending northeasterly about Fiordland.

Some high cloud develops this evening, east to northeast breezes ease overnight.
