As predicted, the cooler air advanced north over central NZ today. A chilly start to the day in the south saw temperatures in single figures this morning, with one or two near freezing.

The high for the nation was 24 degrees in Whitianga and Kawerau with the lowest max temp in Invercargill and Gore with just 13 degrees.

Its nice to see now a more summerlike pattern in Auckland without so much of an Hideous windy southwest flow dominating for days.
