Windy, warmer, for most – but a weak cold front coming

A storm well south of NZ will help produce gale force nor-westers going into Thursday, especially through the Southern Alps. This will boost temperatures in many regions over the next couple of days – both by day and by night.

But a cold front is coming – with temperatures dropping over the South Island going into Friday and the weekend, and that may produce a few thunderstorms going into the North Island.

We have your NZ forecast through to the start of December.
