The wind was again the talking point in some places today and although it wasn’t as strong in some areas today compared to yesterday, others felt the force moreso today, than the previous 24 hours.
Snow fell to quite low levels across higher regions over the mainland today and temperatures reflected this in the far south with Queenstown, Milford Sound and Gore being the coolest centres on 9 degrees, whereas Napier climbed to 22 degrees, taking the hotspot.
