Temperatures today were a little above average in the north but further south, cool conditions prevailed over many areas however late spring still delivered quite a bit of sunshine over a large part of the country.

Kawerau stole the limelight again with 26 degrees as the national high, whereas Gore and Invercargill once more were bottom of the list with 14 degrees.
