Temperatures not so extreme today – but still relatively warm.  Looks like the nor’wester will crank up tomorrow in the South Island so temperatures should be higher during Friday and Saturday ahead of our next spring storm.

Today’s highest temperature was 21 in Alexandra and the coolest main centre was 12 in Invercargill.
