Dargaville appears to be on track for the mildest evening with a low of around 16/17 and the coolest around the country looks likely to be Invercargill and Gore with both centres dipping into single figures.

To the main centres and Auckland is looking at around 15 degrees tonight but up to 23 or 24 tomorrow. Hamilton might see a shower tonight but it warms up to 25 tomorrow and any fog should clear however there’s a 20% chance of an afternoon shower.Wellingtonians should see a dry night with the thermometer down to around 12 degrees but tomorrow that southerly might increase a little bringing the risk of some drizzle.

To the mainland now and Christchurch could see a little cloud build up overnight and a tad cool too with a low of 10 expected and tomorrow pesky drizzle is also a possibilty with the high in the upper teens. Dunenites are looking at a similar story but the drizzle might turn to light rain tomorrow with a top of a nippy 16 degrees.
