The Big Picture on Wednesday

> From the WeatherWatch archives

High pressure brings mainly settled conditions to New Zealand on Wednesday.

For the North Island the weather is mainly sunny with light winds, a few morning showers possible about Gisborne then sunny spells break through from afternoon. Perhaps a touch of cloud about eastern Northland during the day also.

The South Island is mainly sunny too, some high cloud for the southern half of the South Island. Drizzle patches about Fiordland. Winds are light for most, northwesterly breezes about Southland.
