Mainly sunny skies and light winds bring warm afternoon temperatures to the South Island tomorrow as shown in the map below, eastern coastal fringes are sitting on average due to coastal northeasterly breezes. Also looking warmer than average for Auckland and Northland.
A bit cool for the eastern North Island with showers, starting to dry out from afternoon as southeasterlies tend to the east.
Average to cool temperatures overnight Wednesday for eastern regions, frosts are not looking likely anywhere. A bit warmer in the west due to some cloud cover and north to northeasterly winds.
