Very summer like around New Zealand on Friday, the same continues again this weekend with even warmer temperatures for some especially in the east. Temperatures in the late teens or early twenties for most.
No frosts likely overnight Friday, the inner South Island sees the coolest overnight lows however nothing below 3 or 4 degrees is likely and even then that is probably going to only be about the Mackenzie Country. Auckland and Northland stay fairly warm only dropping to between 14 and 15 overnight.
