A warmer than average day for most parts of the country today however some coastal parts where most of the population is may find it’s a fairly average day temperature wise. The upper North Island and southwestern corner of the North Island receive the warmest temperatures getting into the late teens.
Not particularly cold tonight but some spots will get a bit chilly. You’ll see in the map below where certain areas are a bit cooler than normal and what actual lows are expected with the numerical figures shown.
