Settled and warmer than average today for all regions around New Zealand, especially in the east. High’s in the late teens or early twenties for most. The West Coast stays in the mid teens however.
Calm and mainly clear skies due to the anticyclone means many spots will have a cooler than average night ahead, especially away from the coast about inland areas. The coldest lows will be about the interior of the South Island from Central Otago up through to inland Marlborough, getting down to 3 or perhaps even 2 degrees in some areas.
