Conditions are a little disturbed tonight due to a cold front pushing in from the west and onto the western North Island. An area of low pressure moves over the South Island. These unsettled conditions of sort don’t let it get too cool but a few spots may still near zero.
The coldest overnight lows tonight will likely be about Central Otago dropping down to 1 or 2 degrees. Northland / Kaitaia wins again only getting down to 12 degrees.
Warmer than average temperatures for most on Friday but conditions will cool down from afternoon especially about the eastern South Island as a south to southwesterly airflow increases. Saturday brings quite cold temperatures for most of New Zealand.
