Systems east and west – Weather risks and the place to be on Friday

> From the WeatherWatch archives

On Friday we have a weak low to the west of the country, and a weak high to the east – so nothing containing any real risks, though a few showers could appear for some upper North Island areas – but mainly about hills and ranges.

On the West Coast, periods of cloud and patchy showers look like moving into South Westland by evening.

The Place to be

The Western and Central North Island is looking at a great day – mostly sunny with southerly quarter winds, with temperatures in the mid 20s all day. Beautiful!
