High pressure is growing to NZ’s west but Sunday sees one last gasp of cooler air along with a few showers.
It will be windy in the south east corner of the South Island, mainly coastal, with a few showers here and there about Southland and coastal Otago, also further north in eastern parts of the North Island.
It’s colder than average in the south east and some other exposed eastern areas – conditions warm back up again tomorrow.
The West Coast will be mostly sunny and mild today, as will the upper South Island and a large portion of inland North Island.
