An enormous area of high pressure is moving over New Zealand bringing light winds, mostly sunny skies and after a cooler start it should be a warmer afternoon for most places.

ALL OF NEW ZEALAND:
A cool start and may be some cloudy areas first thing, otherwise light winds and/or afternoon sea breezes with a mainly sunny day nationwide. Most places will be warmer than they were on Saturday.

Highs: 20 to 28
