Sunday’s national forecast – Cooler for most in the Nth Is, a little milder in the Sth Is (+4 Maps)

> From the WeatherWatch archives

A south west change means much of New Zealand is cooler today but despite the cold change most main centres have normal temperatures for this time of year, showing how much milder than normal it has been lately in many regions.

Colder weather has been spreading up the South Island for the past two days and while today is cool it should be sunnier and a little warmer than Saturday was.

But, most of the North Island is cooler today than Saturday was.
