Temperatures are dropping up the South Island today as a weak southerly change moves in. Cloud, drizzle, showers and some patchy rain will move through, but many areas may be more sheltered and dry/fairly due to ranges/hills/mountains.
Winds are light for most with high pressure generally covering New Zealand.
The North Island is settled with hot weather inland and dry everywhere.
