High pressure will be centred over the country today, bringing more dry and settled weather to most areas.  A few light showers will be possible over the far eastern North Island.

Upper North Island

A few clouds to start with increasingly sunny skies from mid-morning on.  Clouds will likely remain in place about Gisborne with a few light showers possible by evening.

Highs 24-28 in the west including Auckland and Hamilton, 20-24 in the east including Gisborne

 

Lower North Island

Mainly sunny skies with a few clouds.

Highs 22-26

 

Upper South Island

Mainly sunny skies with a few clouds

Highs 20-24

 

Lower South Island

Mainly sunny skies with a few clouds

Highs 18-23
