NZ VIDEO: Frosts, fog, sun & showers

High pressure is the main feature of New Zealand’s weather this week bringing a few coastal showers but large, dry, areas of weather – and that means colder nights.

Frosts are expected as far north as Auckland this week – with heaviest frosts the South Island’s interior and parts of the Central North Island.

Showers still remain, especially around Northern Hawke’s Bay and Gisborne – but they also fade out.

By this weekend foggy areas and northerlies are more likely – with a chance of low pressure returning to NZ again next week.
