A rainy or showery morning for a number of these regions, improving later this morning and into the afternoon with winds from the south or south west,
HIGHS: 18-21

Could be an early shower in the north otherwise improving – however clouds may build again later in the day, especially in the west, with the possibility of more rain or showers for the northern West Coast as we head towards late afternoon and tonight.
HIGHS: 18-24

Lower South Island

Heavy rain returns to the West Coast but its cloudy for Southland with a few morning showers possible. Otago may be sunnier and should remain dry.
