Sunday’s national forecast

> From the WeatherWatch archives

Most of NZ has a dry Sunday but some wet weather will push into Fiordland, Westland and perhaps slide a little further north up the West Coast later in the day or night.

This set up will encourage cloudy weather around Southland and some western parts of the North Island.

Winds around Cook Strait and surrounding coastal areas may be a little windy today.

Sunniest weather, as per the infographic below which also shows cloud cover, indicates the north and east of both islands will be sunniest.
