Another fairly sunny and mild day across many parts of the country today with northerly quarter winds developing in a number of places and easterlies at the top of the nation.
Many areas lean warmer than average today but the eastern North Island (especially Northern Hawke’s Bay, Gisborne and East Cape) remain below average due to the wind off the sea.
High pressure is slipping away to the east allowing the northerly flow to develop.
