Upper North Island

Mostly sunny with south to southeasterly breezes, cloud a little more frequent from afternoon with the chance of an isolated shower any of which clear in the evening.

Lower North Island

Mostly cloudy along the east coast with showers, sunnier out west with any early showers clearing. Winds mostly from the south.

Upper South Island

Any morning cloud and showers along the east coast clear then expect mostly sunny weather with southerlies tending more east to northeast in the afternoon. There is the chance of a few isolated showers developing about inland areas in the afternoon any of which clear in the evening.

Lower South Island

Mostly sunny although cloud builds a little after midday, chance of an isolated shower or two in the afternoon any of which clear in the evening. It should be a dry day for most. Light winds.
