It will be fairly settled day across the country. There will likely be a few patches of drizzly showers around this morning for the northern tip of the North Island. Also some showers possible about Hawkes Bay and Gisborne.
For this afternoon, most of those showers should come to an end. Parts of the country will see dry, but somewhat cloudy conditions. However, Auckland may still see a few quick showers hanging about into the afternoon.
Across the South Island, there regions likely to see any showers are Southland and Otago, although Dunedin could see dry weather this morning. There is also a chance that showers could sweep into the West Coast later in the day.
Temperatures will be pretty average today. Afternoon highs should be around 10 across most of the South Island. Highs should be closer to the 15 degree mark about the North Island.
