Sunday: Settled for much of NZ, but still a few northern showers

> From the WeatherWatch archives

Another keep-it-simple forecast for today as high pressure dominates most of NZ – but not quite all the country. The northern half and north east of the North Island are again exposed to a few showers here and there. Nothing major overall but perhaps a nuisance for some. They shouldn’t linger too long in the E to ESE breeze.

Elsewhere high pressure is crossing over you so winds are mostly light and skies are mainly dry.

It’s a warm to hot day across NZ, with hottest weather inland and to the west of the North Island, and inland to the east and south of the South Island.
