Clear with some cloud, light winds. Northerlies about the Bay Of Plenty
ease this evening. Isolated showers about inland Bay Of Plenty, eastern Waikato
and northern / eastern parts of the Central North Island, some heavy with
thunderstorms easing this evening and clearing before midnight.

Clear with some high cloud about Wairarpa. Sunny spells further north,
isolated showers about Hawkes Bay and Gisborne however, some heavy with
thunderstorms especially inland and drifting towards the coast this evening.
Heavy showers and any thunderstorms clear before midnight. Easterly breezes
ease, light winds overnight.

winds overnight. Heavy showers with thunderstorms about southern Marlborough
ease this evening and clear before midnight.

Cloudy spells south of Banks Peninsula with easterly breezes, the odd ligth
shower about South Canterbury clearing this evening. Clearer north of Banks
Peninsula, although there are a few heavy showers north of Rangiora with
possible thunderstorms. They will ease this evening then clear before midnight.
Light winds overnight for most.

Fairly cloudy with northwesterlies, some rain about Fiordland and southern
parts of South Westland eases overnight for a time. The odd light shower further
north. Buller mainly dry with some cloud at times.
