It’s been a very unusual 24 hours for parts of the country, with snow pellets falling out of a clear blue sky in Auckland, along with hail and snow flurries in other places.
Most of the weather which brought those conditions is now out at sea, replaced by clear skies and low temperatures – before turning to clear and sunny afternoons for most.
Thursday brings another weather system to change conditions once again before a warmer weekend – check out the specifics with Philip Duncan, below.
