In our final video of 2018 we track the series of rain makers drifting past New Zealand from the north and how this will impact some people over the weekend and on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
Those in the northern half of the North Island are most exposed to wet weather. We look at the rest of next week as high pressure builds and a cooler southerly moves through for a day or so. We also take a special long range look at the weather map for New Year’s Eve to get an idea on where all the highs and lows are lying as we head into January 2019.
Thank you all for your support this year on our YouTube channel – we look forward to expanding our content in 2019. Our week day weather videos return mid to late January – we will have “RainWatch†news stories on our website as a replacement during this time. This is a special daily news story that focuses solely on rain and showers across New Zealand. Have a safe summer!
