Southerly action down South

> From the WeatherWatch archives

It’s been pretty quiet on the weather front today, however that’s about to change down South.

A southerly has started it’s slow march up the South Island, bringing with it showers and colder temperatures.

Invercargill is currently sitting on a chilly 10 degrees with Gore on 12 and if you’re out in the wind I imagine it’s feeling a lot colder than that.  Dunedin is yet to feel the chill and is on a warm 19 degrees.

I don’t think there will be much ‘action’ about the weather down south, just cooler which seems to be common thing about Spring, so far this year.
