Across NZ and Australia the forecast is quite similar this week – plenty of large dry areas, a few showers, the odd thunderstorm and late summer is packing some heat.

West Australia will be up and over 45C this week and northern NZ will up and over 30C at times.

But there are some signs that Autumn is just around the corner.
