Settled for many this morn.

> From the WeatherWatch archives

There appears to be a similar weather pattern holding up and it is likely to last into the weekend.

Southerlies on our eastern side are set to deliver coolish temperatures again today although dry conditions are likely for many areas from Gisborne down to Otago however the showers might pop in tonight with the snow level dropping for a time.

Peter from Dunedin has said the weather looks bright there this morning and a much more settled day is expected than was previously forecast but the chance of showers returning to Dunedin and the far south is likely tonight.

West still appears in good shape and plenty of the sunshine is expected there and the same applies for the North Island and northern areas as well.

There’s a chance of frosts tonight in sheltered areas in western and inland areas and tomorrow is likely to see another mostly sunny day.

Warmest areas are expected to be over the west and north of the North Island but it’s not set to be overly warm however behind glass or away from the breeze it’s likely to be quite pleasant.
