The weather is mainly settled across New Zealand today thanks to a high pressure system. A few light showers for the West Coast though.

Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty
Mostly sunny with some high cloud, mid level cloud for eastern Northland, perhaps a shower or two there from evening. East to northeasterly winds.
Highs: 15-17

Western North Island (including Central North Island)
Mostly sunny, some high cloud, west to northwesterly winds in the afternoon.
Highs: 14-17

Eastern North Island

Sunny, morning cloud about Gisborne clears, some high cloud later in the day. Afternoon east to northeasterly winds tend to the north in the evening.
Highs: 15-18

Wellington

Mostly sunny, some high cloud possible. Northerlies freshen from afternoon through Cook Strait.
Highs: 15-16

Marlborough & Nelson

Mostly sunny, a touch of high cloud possible. North to northwesterly winds.
Highs: 15-18

Canterbury

Sunny with northerly winds, tending more northeast near the coastal fringe with slightly cooler temperatures.
Highs: 15-18

West Coast

Mostly cloudy with a few light showers south of Greymouth, Buller has sunny spells. North to northeasterly winds.
Highs: 12-15

Southland & Otago
Mostly sunny, some high cloud. Northerlies, winds may tend a little more northeast for coastal Otago.
Highs: 15-17
