Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty
Mostly sunny with south to southwesterly winds.

Western North Island (including Central North Island)
Occasional showers, especially near the coast then clearing in the evening. Some areas inland are drier with more frequent areas of sun. Cool southerly winds.
Highs: 12-16

Eastern North Island
Occasional showers, clearing in the evening. Fresh south to southwesterly winds.
Highs: 12-15

Wellington
Showers ease, clearing in the afternoon then some sun breaks through. Fresh southerlies gradually ease.
High: 14

Marlborough & Nelson
Sunny, southerlies tend east to northeast in the afternoon about Marlborough. Sunny for Nelson, afternoon northerlies.
Highs: 13-16

Canterbury
Mostly sunny, some morning cloud Banks Peninsula northwards clearing away. Southwesterly winds ease.
Highs: 13-15

West Coast
Sunny with light winds.
Highs: 14-16

Southland & Otago
Mostly sunny, some high cloud developing from afternoon about Southland, light winds. Overnight showers develop about Southland with a southwest change.
