Sunny and dry with west to southwesterly winds. Afternoon sea breezes for the Bay Of Plenty.
Highs: 25-29

Western North Island (including Central North Island)
Mostly sunny with light winds then changing southeast late morning.
Highs: 23-24

Eastern North Island
Southerlies freshen in the morning bringing cloudy periods, staying mainly dry though. Southerlies ease at night.
Highs: 21-26

Wellington
Southerlies freshen in the morning bringing areas of cloud, mainly dry.
High: 18

Marlborough & Nelson
Sunny, some cloud from afternoon about Marlborough as east to southeasterly winds freshen. Afternoon northerlies for Nelson.
Highs: 21-23

Canterbury
Southerlies develop in the morning brining mostly cloudy skies, risk of a morning shower then cloud breaks late afternoon or evening.
Highs: 16-18

West Coast
Any early showers clear then mostly sunny, southwesterly winds die out in the evening.
Highs: 19-23

Southland & Otago
Cloudy areas for Southland, there may be a shower mainly morning. Otago sees any early showers clear then becoming mostly sunny. West to southwesterly winds easing in the evening.
