Sunny spells with west to southwesterly winds, winds may tend northerly in the afternoon about the Bay Of Plenty.

Western North Island (including Central North Island)
Mostly sunny with a few isolated showers late afternoon / evening about inland hills and ranges, fairly dry otherwise. Light winds in the morning then westerlies develop.
Highs: 22-26

Eastern North Island
Mostly sunny with east to northeasterly breezes. Risk of an isolated shower about the ranges late afternoon / evening otherwise mainly dry.
Highs: 23-25

Wellington
Mostly sunny with northerly winds.
High: 24

Marlborough & Nelson
Mostly sunny with afternoon easterlies for Marlborough, afternoon northerlies for Nelson.
Highs: 25-27

Canterbury
Mostly sunny, may be an isolated shower late afternoon / evening otherwise mainly dry. Light winds tend east to northeast in the afternoon.

West Coast
Cloudy areas and occasional sun, there may be a shower or two about especially from evening. North to northwesterly winds.
