Morning cloud breaks to mostly sunny weather, southwesterly winds. The Bay Of Plenty sees a mainly sunny day with afternoon north to northeasterly winds.

Western North Island (including Central North Island)

Morning cloud breaks to a mostly sunny afternoon, light winds tend westerly around midday.
Highs: 20-25

Eastern North Island

Sunny with afternoon easterly winds.
Highs: 23-24

Wellington

Sunny with light winds tending northerly by midday.
High: 20

Marlborough & Nelson

Sunny with afternoon north to northeasterly winds.
Highs: 21-24

Canterbury

Sunny after any morning cloud clears, perhaps a touch of high cloud at times. Brisk afternoon easterly winds about the coast.
Highs: 19-23

West Coast

A mix of sun and cloud with light winds tending westerly in the afternoon.
Highs: 17-23

Southland & Otago

Mainly sunny weather with a touch of high cloud, northerly quarter winds. East to Northeasterly breezes about coastal Otago.
Highs: 19-26
