Sunny areas with light winds tending north to northeasterly, a chance of overnight fog. The Waikato may see morning fog also.

Western North Island (including Central North Island)

Cloudy areas, chance of a shower or two about, otherwise mainly dry. Light west to northwesterly winds.
Highs: 19-20

Eastern North Island

Sunny areas and some high cloud, chance of a spot of rain in the afternoon, otherwise mainly dry. Light winds.
Highs: 20-23

Wellington

Sunny areas with northwesterly winds.
High: 18

Marlborough & Nelson

A mainly sunny day, a chance of morning high cloud then clearing away. Light winds.
Highs: 19-21

Canterbury

A mainly sunny day with light east to northeasterly winds.
Highs: 20-21

West Coast

A mainly sunny day with light westerly winds, Fiordland is fairly cloudy, however, with northwesterlies and showers.
Highs: 16-18

Southland & Otago

Sunny areas and increasing cloud, a few showers move in during the afternoon about Southland. West to northwesterly winds for most, although light northeasterly winds about coastal Otago.
Highs: 18-20
