High pressure covers much of New Zealand today however there will be some cloud about especially over the North Island, a light shower or two for some North Island regions also.

Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty

Mostly cloudy with light winds. Chance of a light shower or two mainly afternoon / evening. Some evening rain possible for western Bay Of Plenty / Coromandel.
Highs: 21-22

Western North Island (including Central North Island)

Mostly cloudy with light winds, low risk of a shower or two late afternoon / evening otherwise mainly dry.
Highs: 18-20

Eastern North Island

A mainly cloudy day with the odd drizzle patch about, light southerlies tend easterly in the afternoon.
Highs: 18-19

Wellington

Sunny areas with gentle easterly winds.
High: 19

Marlborough & Nelson

Morning cloud breaks to mostly sunny weather, light winds tend northerly in the afternoon.
Highs: 18-19

Canterbury

Any morning cloud breaks to mainly sunny weather, east to northeasterly breezes. Light winds inland.
Highs: 17-19

West Coast

Areas of cloud with light westerly winds, low risk of a light shower or two otherwise mostly dry.
Highs: 17-19

Southland & Otago

Mostly sunny with west to northwesterly breezes, a little cloud about Southland. Light northeasterly winds about coastal Otago.
Highs: 18-20
