Showers at times, perhaps some sun now and then. Southwesterly winds breezy about Northland and Auckland.

Western North Island (including Central North Island)
Becoming mostly sunny in the morning with east to southeast winds, east of Wanganui or towns closer to the ranges one can expect cloud and showers spreading from the east at times.

Eastern North Island
Areas of rain and drizzle, dry now and then too. Easterly winds.
High: 13
 
Wellington
Showers with easterly winds.
High: 13
 
Marlborough & Nelson
Cloudy with areas of rain, more so about Marlborough but there may be a few spits in the Nelson region from afternoon. Easterly winds.
Highs: 13-14
 
Canterbury
Cloudy, the odd spot of rain possible. Easterly winds.
High: 12
 
West Coast
Becoming mostly sunny in the morning, light southerly winds.
Highs: 13-14
 
Southland & Otago
A chance of morning sun then areas of rain develop in the afternoon, rain may not reach coastal Otago till evening. Southwesterlies pick up after midday.
