Sunny areas and some cloud with west to northwesterly winds, cloud less frequent the further inland one goes.

Eastern North Island
Sunny weather with light winds, some evening high cloud.

Wellington
Sunny areas and some cloud, light winds.

Marlborough & Nelson
Sunny with light winds, afternoon north to northeasterly winds.

Canterbury
Mostly sunny with light winds.

West Coast
Periods of cloud and a few sunny spells, southwesterly breezes.
