Auckland will have a mix of clear spells and some cloud with southwesterly breezes, there may also be the odd brief shower move through but expect mainly dry weather. A low of 19 degrees so not cold by any means.

Cloudy with patchy rain or drizzle for the capital, cool southerly breezes. A low of 16 degrees.

Christchurch has mostly cloudy skies with cool southwesterlies, dry for the moment however later this evening or overnight a few drizzle patches
may move in. Getting down to 13 degrees.
