RainWatch – Showers in the west today, turning to rain about South Westland.

Expect the odd shower at times out west today in a westerly quarter airflow for the North Island, some spots may stay largely dry like Northland and Bay Of Plenty. Any early showers Mahia Peninsula northwards clear this morning in the east. Showers for the West Coast of the South Island, turning to rain about South Westland this morning then becoming heavy in the evening.

Saturday is dry for eastern New Zealand, some rain or showers out west. Any early rain about Southland / Otago clears away.
