Cold southwesterlies continue to bring showers to western parts of the country today, also about the far south. Southwesterlies freshening about Canterbury this morning may bring a few showers then clearing this afternoon.
A few showers about western and southern parts of the country on Friday, mainly dry in the east although a spit or two may spread into Hawkes Bay from the west in the afternoon.
