Rain and showers are on the way for many places over the coming days, including dry parts of the upper North Island.
As WeatherWatch.co.nz said last week, NZ has a spring-like weather pattern for this week which means rain is more likely on the western side.
Eastern areas remain fairly dry with a large portion of Canterbury and Hawke’s Bay missing out on rain over the next several days.
Another 10 to 15mm is coming for Auckland’s water storage lakes.
Mt Taranaki, National Park and Fiordland all may have over 100mm in the coming 7 days.

Hi Karen, we’re in quite a dry stretch at the moment so apart from some showers tonight, we have a mostly dry run coming up. Fingers crossed you can get some rain from that future possible cyclone – but it’s not locked in at all for NZ yet, so can’t be relied on.
Cheers
