Rain moving in on the coast, & your Main Centre forecast on Thursday

> From the WeatherWatch archives

Most of the country is looking at a relatively settled weather day – though heavy rain will move in to parts of the West Coast of the South Island in the evening or overnight.

Main Centres

Auckland

A cloudy-ish day in Auckland, though temperatures stay in the early 20s, and light breezes blow from the northeast.

Wellington

Brisk northwest winds and light cloud cover dominate the day, though temperatures will still be up in the late teens – so not too bad for the capital.

Christchurch

A fine and clear day in Christchurch, with light breezes and a high in the early 20s – until evening, when showers may move into the city and surrounds.
