POLL RESULTS: Two thirds of Kiwis yet to take a holiday

> From the WeatherWatch archives

As we near the end of 2016’s first full month, summer holidays are already becoming a too-distant memory for many kiwis returning to work and school.

It may not be a majority, though – as we asked in this week’s poll just how many of our readers have taken a holiday so far this summer – and the results surprised us all!

Just a third of those who voted said they’d had their summer break already, with the majority of respondents still to take theirs – or skipping a holiday altogether.

One commenter in the minority, Robyn, said

“We have had a summer holiday at Gt Barrier Isld from Xmas to New Year with rain at first followed by hot sunny days. Beautiful place.”

Watch this space for our new poll, coming tomorrow
