83% of those who voted in our most recent poll say the wet winter weather has had a significant affect on how often they’ve been able to mow their lawns.
The large majority responded that it’s been “too wet/muddy” to mow lawns on a regular basis, compared to usual.
Just 17% say it’s been about the same or no worse than usual.
With so many low pressure systems crossing the country over the past 6 months many people have lawns that are either muddy, too wet to mow, or even quite literally under water in places with the soil saturated.
There is good news – WeatherWatch.co.nz is forecasting much drier weather next week across a lot of New Zealand. There will still be a few downpours here and there but overall the incoming week looks much drier and calmer thanks to high air pressure moving in.
